Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Day 1

Bonete Trail — immersion in the Atlantic Forest

A trek of roughly 14 km across one of the most preserved areas of Ilhabela — challenging and rewarding. Strategic stops at natural waterfalls, with time to rest and take a refreshing dip, and panoramic viewpoints where the deep blue of the sea alternates with the lush green of the forest. Arrival at Bonete Beach, voted one of the most beautiful in Brazil, rustic in essence and rich in caiçara culture. Overnight at a hostel in Bonete, with simple and welcoming lodging; the rest of the day free to enjoy the beach and an unforgettable sunset.

  2. Day 2

    6 Beaches Crossing — Bonete → Castelhanos

Departure at dawn (6am) for the famous 6 Beaches Trail, heading West → East, passing wild beaches, rocky shores and preserved stretches (about 16 km). Arrival at the impressive Castelhanos Beach, one of the largest on the island, with 1,800 meters of sand, surrounded by sea, river and Atlantic Forest. Overnight at a chalet in Castelhanos, with comfort and rest in this paradisiacal setting.

  3. Day 3

Castelhanos in depth + return by 4x4 Jeep

Sunrise over the vastness of the sea and a full day to explore Castelhanos at ease: sea and river swims in crystal-clear waters, walks along the long stretch of sand, the iconic Mirante do Coração and the striking rock formation of Mirante do Francês. We finish in style with the return to town in 4x4 Jeeps, crossing the Ilhabela State Park along inner trails, rivers and exclusive viewpoints — a safe, thrilling route full of landscapes unreachable by ordinary vehicles.
